Georgetown: APNU Presidential Candidate Brigadier (ret’d) David Granger and a team from Region #4 including Regional Chairman, Mr. Clement Corlette visited the Hinterland Community of St. Cuthbert's Mission over the weekend.
The residents of St Cuthbert’s Mission complained about the fact that the PPP/C Administration has in the last nineteen (19) years completely ignored that community, only rushing in like “Santa Clause” a day or two before General Elections with gifts to purchase votes.
Members of St. Cuthbert's Mission have also called for better road to access their community. Although $25 million Guyana dollars was spent to reconstruct the access road to their community, the project which began in 2010 and was completed earlier this year is now a disaster area of sand, mud, grass and water. This is now a road on which only heavy duty and 4 wheel drive vehicles can traverse.
