El Dorado: A 16-year-old student is fighting for his life at hospital after being stabbed by a group of youngsters.
The incident occured on Wednesday afternoon, when the student of the El Dorado West Secondary School, identified as Cordell Alleyne was waiting for transportation.
Police say the Form Five student was standing along the Priority Bus Route, when he was approached by a group of boys.
Investigators have not revealed if the other teens were in school uniform. The group began beating the 16 year-old and then stabbed him in the upper back. Corell was taken to the hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
It is not clear what prompted the attack.
