186 firarms recovered during the firearm amnesty

Georgetown : At the conclusion of the Firearm Amnesty on Wednesday October 14, 2015, the following firearms and ammunition have been handed in by citizens.

 

 

 

‘A’ Division (Georgetown/East Bank Demerara)

1,192 rounds 7.62×39 ammunition.

Five (5) .22 pistols and three (3) magazines along with 88 rounds .22 ammunition.

Five (5) shotguns with forty nine (49) cartridges.

One (1) 9 mm Luger pistol with thirty eight (38) 9mm. rounds.

Four (4) .32 pistols along with one (1) magazine and 347 matching rounds.

Five (5) air rifles

One (1) .22 revolver

Four (4) .38 revolvers and 126 matching rounds

One (1) .357 revolver

One .32 revolver with seven (7) .32 rounds

Fifty one (51) rounds .25 ammunition

 

‘B’ Division (Berbice)

 

One (1) .32 pistol with ten (10) .32 rounds

One (1) 16 gauge shotgun with ten (10) cartridges

Four (4) 9mm. rounds

 

‘C’ Division (East Coast Demerara)

 

Two (2) air rifles

One (1) .32 revolver with five (5) .32 rounds

Three (3) 9mm spent shells

 

‘D’ Division (West Demerara/East Bank Essequibo)

 

Two (2) air rifles

One (1) .32 revolver 

One (1) 9mm magazine.

Three (3) 16 gauge shotgun cartridges.

Three (3) 20 gauge shotgun cartridges.
