Rihanna hits Loud

Bridgetown.

International super star Rihanna, captivated the hearts of Barbadians last night with a commanding performance with her first concert in her homeland at the historic Kensington Oval.

Fans had to wait for over for over an hour before Rihanna to to the stage, but from the moment she belted out her first song Only Girl in The World,  to her final number Unbrella, the fans were spellbound.

Rihanna performed a number of her hits, including Unfaithful, Man Down, Pon De Replay and SOS, she toyed with her fans and played a solo piece on the drums.

The production of the show was first class with bright lights and glamour that give an international feel to the concert, the thousands who packed the stands and the the grounds were  in awe.

Rihanna touched her audience in different ways, some of the fans just stood staring, others waved their hands and rags in appreciation, while other shouted :"Ri- Ri we  love you.

The Grammy Award winning singing performed for just over an hour, many of of the fans described  the Loud Concert  as the best and biggest show to come to Barbados.

  Local pop group Cover Drive, was the opening act, rapper J Cole and DJ Dummy also performed but the night belong to Rihanna who grew up in Westbury  Road, a kilometre away from Kensington Oval.
