LIAT prepared for competition, says chairman

Bridgetown: LIAT is taking measures to ensure that it is prepared for any new competition.

According to its chairman Jean Holder, the regional airline has had more than its fair share of competition and sees nothing wrong with it.

“We have been here for 54 years and there is a lot of talk about LIAT being a monopoly and not having any competition. LIAT has had the most serve competition in the past 50 years and we are still here, “ Holder told TrakkerNews.

He says  the airline is looking to cut expenditure and reduce the cost of travel, while at the same time increase the company’s revenue and guarantee customer satisfaction.

Holder  was speaking to Caribbean Trakker  at the launch of LIAT's new cargo service at the Hilton Hotel.
