Georgetown : This afternoon the police conducted a raid at the Stabroek Market Square, Georgetown.
A quantity of pronto leaves along with a quantity of gold jewellery, two welding torches and 100 cell phones, suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained, were seized by the police.
A total of 36 men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with investigations.
