Georgetown-At about 2130h. last evening, Designer Trevor Rose, 29 years, was attacked and robbed by two men armed with handguns at Parade Ground, Georgetown.Investigations revealed that Trevor Rose and other workers were preparing Mashramani costumes when the two men approached and held him at gunpoint and demanded a bag with cash that he had in his possession. The victim resisted and a struggle ensued between him and the men during which shots were discharged by the armed men.
The perpetrators then took away the bag which contained $10,000.00US and $500,000.00 and escaped in a waiting motor car.
