Essequibo: The police today launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Brian Smith of Aishalton Village, South Rupununi, which occurred at Bush Mouth, Aishalton.
According to the police, the 50 year old Smith was cutting branches of a tree with a power saw. The branches struck him to the head as it fell. He was pronounced dead at the Aishalton Hospital.
