Georgetown: Sandra Angela Profitt, 55, of West Ruimveldt Georgetown was Thursday morning sentenced to four years in prison for trafficking cocaine when she appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court.
She pleaded guilty to trafficking more than six pounds of cocaine.
On Monday last, at the Eugene F Correia International Airport, Ogle, ECD, Profitt was nabbed by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit with the cocaine strapped to her upper thighs.
According to CANU, the drug weighed 3.378 kilograms.
At the time of the discovery, Profitt was sitting in the departure area waiting to board a LIAT flight destined for Barbados.
Meanwhile, the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit has issued a wanted bulletin for Winston Carto called “Chief Mike”, Of Lot 193 Greenheart Street, South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown for a quantity of cocaine intercepted on Sandra Angela Profitt at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport Ogle.
