The body of a woman was fished out of the sea in Portsmouth this morning.
. She has been identified as Anne Paul-Wallace, who according to the police Police Public Relation Officer, Inspector John Carbon, is a known psychiatric patient.
According to Carbon, her body was recovered about 300 feet from the Portsmouth market around 12:45 pm and hauled to shore by a fisherman.
It was transported to the Reginald Fitzroy-Armour hospital where she was pronounced dead. An eyewitness, who lives nearby, said Paul-Wallace, who is in her late 40′s, was seen sitting in the area earlier in the day.
Only afterwards her red skirt was seen floating out at sea and an alarm was raised.
