Special team to look at revamping the PNM

THE General Council of Trinidad and Tobago’s Opposition party, the People’s National Movement , has agreed to create a 15-member team to review the party and determine the reason for the defeat at the polls in the last two elections. Dr Keith Rowley, the PNM’s political leader told of the intention today following a three-hour meeting of the party’s general council last night. There will be an "arm’s length" approach to the review as several nonparty members will form part of the team. A report is expected to be submitted in October, Rowley said.
