A 27-year-old mother who allegedly force-fed her son baby formula laced with poison two Saturdays ago appeared before a Tunapuna Magistrate today. Kalisha Williams of Gordon Street, Curepe appeared before Magistrate Nanette Ford-John in the Tunapuna Magistrates Court today. Williams, who was charged with administering a noxious substance with the intent to murder, was granted $50,000 bail with a surety. The matter was adjourned to September 5. Williams is alleged to have fed her three-year-old son Shane baby formula mixed with poison and drank before drinking some of the poison herself on August 14.
