The Chinese have started construction on a major highway leading into Beijing. This has caused a traffic jam that is more than 100 Killometers long.
Drivers have been stuck on this highway now for over 10 Days with no sight of when they will be able to drive away. The traffic is moving on an average of 1 KM every day.
China has seen unprecedented growth in the number of vehicles on the road. So far this year thru June car sales has gone up more than 23 percent over same period last year. This will equate to selling more cars than the US for the first time.
