Archie bats for CCJ

If we can run our own country for the past 48 years then we can obviously manage our own appeal court, Chief Justice Ivor Archie said at today’s
ceremonial opening of the law term.
Archie made the statement today in defence of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) over the Privy Council as this country’s final appeal court. The new law term opened with much pomp and ceremony earlier today.
