With President Bharrat Jagdeo pushing for carbon credits from Guyana’s large maiden forests through the Low Carbon Development Strategy(LCDS) , his top man responsible Commissioner of Forestry James Singh has suffered a stroke.
According to information Singh’s stroke attacked the left side of his body and is receiving treatment.
Mr. Goberdhan is filling the post at present.
