Yesterday at 11pm 46 year old Seaton Daphness of Middle Street
Mc Doom was struck down by a motor pick up GKK 4960 on the Agricola Public Road, East Bank Demerara and subsequently died.
Reports are the deceased was attempting to cross the eastern carriage way of the four lane road when he was struck down by one Richard Mallay.
The pick up’s driver is detained and assisting the police with their investigation.
Daphness death has brought the road fatalities for this year to 78 deaths in 75 accidents.
