McLeod: Country’s safety laws need review

Acting Prime Minister Errol McLeod has called for a review of this country’s Occupational Safety and Health legislation.
McLeod made the statement today as he delivered the feature address at a symposium at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad hotel hosted by the American Chamber of business.
McLeod, this country’s substantive Labour Minister, says the main occupational health issue facing this country is that of  "falling objects".
He said the Labour Ministry is in the process of making this country’s occupational safety laws more stringent.
