After heavy pressure from friends and neighbours of the late Sandra Ali of 117 West Ruimveldt, the police have launched an investigation into the woman’s death.
This morning Government pathologist Nehaul Singh perform a post mortem and reported that Sandra Ali’s body has multiple injuries and evidence of strangulation.
The death certificate has Ali died from Breast Cancer.
According to initial reports Sandra Ali who was a cancer patient was abused by her mother Stella Jacobs and brothers Carl and Arjune for a number of years. A report was made to the Welfare department within the Ministry of Human Services by a close friend of the deceased Sharon Harding who rescued her and took her to the hospital on September 10th 2010.
Ali died three days later.
