Thousands march to PM’s office

THOUSANDS of public servants answered the Public Service Association’s (PSA) call to march to the Prime Minister’s St Clair office today, the union’s president Watson Duke has said.
Duke has declared "war" against the government for its inability to settle salary negotiations for public servants months before wage negotiations come to a close.
Duke yesterday called on public servants to walk from the Eric Williams financial complex to deliver a "simple letter" to the Prime Minister’s office in St Clair today.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is out of the country, and Labour Minister Errol McLeod is acting in her absence.
