Acting Prime Minister Errol McLeod today presented the members of the new minimum wages board.
Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Labour Ministry Ashford Sankar is the chairman of the seven-member board.
Economist Hayden Manzano, Industrial Relations Manager Stephanie Fingal, Labour Relations Officer Cindy Joseph, unionists Ozzi Warwick and Ida Le Blanc as well as Reshma Goolcharan make up the board.
The board is to conduct consultations to determine the minimum wage.
McLeod is expected to meet with the board late next month.
The minimum wage was increased from $9.50 to $12 in the budget.
