Fip Motilall says strong public criticism makes him stronger – Amaila Falls access roads will finish on time.

Makeshwar ‘Fip’ Motilall President of Synergy Holding Inc. the company contracted to construct access road to the Amaila Falls Hydro electric project in a private interview today said the biggest challenge of this job is not building the roads but the time schedule, the logistics and taking some 70 pieces of equipment through 206 km.
He said the actual construction will start in two weeks time since his company still waits on some documentation from the Public Works Ministry. He pointed out that Synergy Holdings is not contracted to build the Hydro Electric Project but only the access roads.
Motilall said he was upset of the public criticisms of his company contracted for the road project but kept quiet since he is confident and positive about his work. He maintained that Synergy Holdings got the bid contract since they are the only bidders that knows the area well and did similar work in Georgia, USA.
He said that the 42 km virgin road would take about 16 to 18 months to build but committed to the Guyana Government to finish it in 8 months since he will be having three teams working simultaneously.
