Almost a week after a driver raced to his death with his wife Amanda Singh miraculously escaping the horrific smash up at Diamond, a frightening twist now emerges. His wife recalled that although her husband was at the wheel, something or someone else was driving the car. She said that from the time they passed the Le Repentir cemetery, the late Bopendra Narine started acting weird, and her repeated efforts to calm him down went in vain.
She explained that his eyes were white like milk as he started to speed without stopping. Amanda was convinced he was possessed, he was not in control of the vehicle and himself. She recalled him racing as danger approached in the vicinity of Diamond when the car smashed into a power pole at which time all went blank. She regained consciousness for a short while in a nearby ditch. The two were rushed to the hospital, but efforts to save husband failed. Amanda Singh says, she cannot explain why this happened, but whatever it was led her husband to his death.
