Relatives worst fear comes through as bodies of drowned victims are discovered.

The search continues early Sunday morning for missing 12 year old Melinda Duggan, who along with her cousin 20 year old  Kishana Holingsworth and 6 year old Quacy Miggins were thrown overboard after the boat they were in capsized in the Demerara river at the Watooka Complex, Linden.

Reports are that late Saturday evening the body of Kishana was discovered about 2 miles from where she fell overboard. The body of the 6 year old was discovered floating just a mile from the mishap. One relative was heard saying that something is seriously wrong, and that the country is cursed with all these accidents and deaths occurring of recent. Relatives were too shocked and remained speechless at times after the discovery of young Miggins’ body. The father told members of his search party that somehow he was refusing to believe that his only son is gone, and that by some miracle there was the slightest hope of him being found alive. Unfortunately the discovery just after lunch on Saturday confirmed his worst fears. Up to the time of this report, the Police confirmed that the search had span out more distance as they search for 12 year old Melinda Duggan. It is believed that with the fierce current overnight the body may have drifted some distance away. Meanwhile, the captain of the boat is expected to be charged and place before the courts tomorrow.
