Senior citizen in critical condition after hit by speeding car

 A 60-year-old woman from Mocha Village on the East Bank of Demerara is now listed as critical after a car hit her while she was crossing a pedestrian crossing this morning on Camp Street, Georgetown.

The woman was rushed to the emergency unit at the Georgetown Hospital where she remains fighting for her life.
For this year there have been more than 100 road fatalities. November is observed as road safety month in Guyana.
