Government accepts blame for failing to act on the commencement bill 2010 to benefit Ameridians- Parliament hears.

A bill to afford legal power, demarcation and land titling among other key benefits to Guyana’s indigenous people is yet to be commenced upon. Since 2006 the Ameridian Act was tabled in Parliament by the then Minister Carolyn Rodrigues. Since then there has been no head way, for which the Prime Minister accepted blame in Parliament today.
