Berbice :Acting upon information received, police ranks went to a house at No. 48 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, where Shameeza Khubeer, 14 years of Angoy’s Ave, New Amsterdam was found in the company of a female relative and her husband.
Shameeza Khubeer allegedly had been abducted by a man and a woman at Smythfield Road, New Amsterdam, on Saturday July 09, 2011.
Further investigations have revealed that Shameeza Khubeer’s story of being abducted is false.
She is in police custody, along with the female relative and her husband, assisting with the investigations.
