Georgetown : Members of the Alliance For Chance (AFC) and residents of No. 63 village Berbice picketed the Guyana Power and Light office located at Middle Street, Georgetown.
The group says the picketing exercise came after years of frustration of not receiving electricity in that area. Residents claim that there are power lines in there since some parts receives electricity.
AFC presidential candidate Khemraj Ramjattan was not part of the exercise since he is in Essequibo, however Prime Ministerial candidate Sheila Holder joined the protest.
