Berbice : The attached pictures represent a true coming together of Guyanese of all races. Khemraj Ramjattan and Dr Van West Charles conducted walkabouts in Bourda and Stabroek Markets then proceeded to PPP heartland in Tain and Whim. The response was phenomenal as an equitable mix of over fifteen hundred Afro and Indo Guyanese, young and old turned out to greet and listen.
Dr Van West Charles states that he is very impressed at the passion,energy and commitment of the Berbicians who are desperate for change. Please note that it was taboo for anyone to wear anything but PPP in these towns and villages. No one was bussed in, no reggage, soca or chutney singers or free food and drinks. No cussing out or gutter politics about APNU or PPP, strictly issues that affect the people of Guyana. Truly a multi racial event.

I hate to do this but you Guys are looking like Christopher Columbus, who just discovered what the AFC has been doing and accomplishing all over Guyana, in FORMER AREAS OF STRENGTH OF BOTH THE PPP AND PNC/APNU.
IF YOU CARE TO I CAN GIVE YOU A SYNOPSIS OF OUR MEETINGS ALL OVER GUYANA. WOULD IT SURPRISE TO LEARN THAT THE AFC held meetings in former bastions, nay citadels, of UNCONTESTED PPP STRENGHT.
In Enmore and Enterprise we had meetings with average crowds of 300 persons and the grand old party followed us and bussed in people and had crowds of 30 to 40 persons. That was bad enough but the people heckled and chased them out!
