Georgetown :The Alliance For Change extends best wishes to all Guyanese at home and in the diaspora on the occasion of the 43rd Anniversary of our Republican status. On this occasion, we would like to share with all members of our Guyanese family, our conviction that together we can overcome the challenges that seem to impede our development and rise to give truth to our nation's motto, "One People, One Nation, One Destiny."
As we observe Mashramani 2013, we are reassured; by the heightened level of public interest in matters of the state and especially the large number of our young people who are coming forward demanding their right to share in all Guyana has to offer, that our nation will be transformed and together we will achieve the prosperity we have dreamed about since independence.
To achieve this promised prosperity, we, all of us, must dedicate our energies towards the happiness and prosperity of Guyana. The AFC has made the commitment to do so and we call on Guyanese the world over to join us.
