Georgetown : The Alliance For Change (AFC) this morning voiced their concerns at the level and magnitude of the oppression facing the working people of Guyana Recently, it has been brought to the attention of the party that sweeper and cleaners attached to the school system with nine years of service and working for eight to ten hours daily are paid $15,800 per month despite the fact that the public service minimum wage is $32, 207.00.
The party will be staging a picket exercise in front of the Ministry of Finance today.
