Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agriculture Society, James Paul say Agrofest the three day agriculture exhibition which ended last night was a resouding success,
Paul said a record number of people of people attended the extravaganza and a increase in the level competition among the farmers
"This year's Agrofest broke attendance records and all those associated with the event should be pleased.We had very good renewable energy exhibits and over the past three days. Barbadians would have been happy with what was on offer", Paul said.
"We have an opportunity to go forward and move to the next level in 2013. We were please with the intense competition among the farmers.It was of a high standard", Paul told Trakker News.
Agrofest with featured over 220 exhibitors was held at Queen Park and Weymouth.
