Cozier said that it is important that Guyanese broadcasters are au-fait with the necessary measures that are needed for the transition.
The Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) has committed to guiding regional broadcasting entities, including electronic media houses in Guyana, as they prepare to switch over from analog transmission to digital.
Another aspect of financing that has been touted is that of an individual licensing fee, but the CBU boss said this is not a good idea for Guyana.
