APNU canvasses Intl. support for Rohee’s dismissal

Leader of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), Brigadier (Rtd) David Granger says that the coalition will not be in future cooperating with National Security Minister in or out of Parliament.

Granger made the disclosure this morning during a press engagement where he also revealed that the coalition has commenced lobbying international support to force the removal of National Security Minister, Clement Rohee.

The APNU Leader recently successfully piloted a Parliamentary ‘Motion of No Confidence’ against the Minister, but the Guyana Government has since indicated that there is no legal requirement to abide with the Parliamentary Resolutions.

Granger has since promised massive pressure to bear on the government as he lobbies local and international support.

“The killings will not be swept under the carpet,” said Granger in reference to the July 18 killing of three demonstrators in Linden by ranks of the Guyana Police Force.
