Georgetown : The PPP/C categorically rejects another act of desperation by the APNU as reflected in its claim that Party activists were “offering substantial monetary bribes (sums of $15,000.00 and above have been quoted) and other inducements to Registered Voters to surrender their National ID Cards to the PPP/C Activists until January 2012.”
The PPP/C calls on the public not to pay attention to these desperate tactics of an opposition that has seen the writing on the wall – the people of Guyana are interested in unity, progress and continued development under the PPP/C.
The PPP/C wishes to put the nation on alert that this type of behavior by the opposition will escalate as we get closer to November 28.
