A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) will tomorrow be moving a motion of ‘No Confidence’ against Guyana’s National Security Minister, Clement Rohee, in wake of the Linden killings.
This was confirmed by the coalition Leader Brigadier (rtd) David Granger.
Granger updating media operatives today on the ‘Linden Crisis,’ said that the measures announced thus far by Head of State, Donald Ramotar, are “necessary but not sufficient.
He says that he expects the motion calling for Rohee’s immediate dismissal to be a joint one with the Alliance for Change (AFC), as against two seperate motions.
Rohee has denied any involvement in the shooting to death of three protestors in Linden on Wednesday last by ranks of the Guyana Police Force.
The Lindeners were at the time protesting the July 1, hike in electricity tariff.
