Arthur remanded

Bridgetown.

Richard Arthur the younger brother of Leader of the Oppostion Owen Arthur, was remanded to prison yesterday after appearing in the Holetown Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Barbara Cooke-Alleyne   yesterday.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge of having 102 rounds of ammunition in his possession without permission, countary to the Firearms Act.

Arthur is scheduled to return to the same court on February 27 but his attorney Randall Belgrave indicated he will be applying to the High Court for bail.
