A four-year-old girl has been left orphaned with the death of her parent in a vehicular accident this morning.
Dead are Prakash Soobir and his wife Michelle.
The two were killed when their vehicle crashed into a pole near Ramai Trace in Penal around 1 a.m. today.
The couple was on their way home in their black Toyota pick-up which veered off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole and concrete wall.
 

PRIME Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and members of her Cabinet are scheduled to fly to Tobago later today in preparation for a four-day
retreat. The team are scheduled to stay at the Coco Reef Hotel.
The Government workshop is carded to start tomorrow and end on Sunday.
The workshop will include programmes such as Art of Negotiation hosted by Harvard director Dr Daniel Shapiro.
The team will also be guided through dialogue on Government and the Media, Good Governance, the separation of powers between the Executive among other programmes.
 

   TWO Mercedes Benz, belonging to former Prime Minister Patrick Manning, are being viewed for public auction today.
PBM 1 and PBL 1 are both parked at the car-park of the residence of the Prime Minister and can be viewed between 9 a.m. -3 p.m. today and
Wednesday.
The deadline for sealed bids is expected to be 1 p.m. Thursday.
