Georgetown : Alladin Adonis of Grove Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara (EBD), and another man who was armed with a firearm attempted to rob a businessman, who is a licensed firearm holder, at Agricola, EBD, last night at around 7:15pm.
The businessman opened fire on the perpetrators hitting Alladin Adonis to his groin while his accomplice managed to escape.
Alladin Adonis has been admitted a patient under guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
