West Coast Demerara : The police shot a man after a brief gun battle at Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara, this morning. According to information reaching this publication, three men were about to rob the home of one Sheriff when they were confronted by police. The dead man was at the time wearing a shirt with a Guyana Power and Light Logo.
