Berbice : The police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about early this morning at Ithaca, West Berbice, during which contractor Jermaine Benjamin was attacked and robbed by five men, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
According to the police Jermaine Benjamin was at home when the men broke into the building and held him at gunpoint. The men took away a quantity of jewellery and $2 million cash and escaped in his green Toyota Premio motor car PNN 4184.
