Bandits may have been tipped off in 2.6 million theft – Investigators

Georgetown- Investigators are looking into a possible inside job that may have led bandits to a 2.6 million dollar theft from their victims. The victims were trailed from Republic Bank on Robb & Camp streets after cashing a cheque for the said amount. From all information gathered, investigators believe that someone may have acted as a lookout in the Bank, not necessarily an employee. The taxi which trailed the couple from three points until the lonely Eping Avenue area, where the robbery occurred was left abandoned suggesting that it may have stolen. Police are reportedly examining the video surveillance in the Bank.
