Port of Spain:Bandits impersonating police officers shot and killed two persons in Arima this morning. Dead are 24-year-old Christopher Joseph and 21year old Nairon Johnson, both of Printeryville off the O’Meara Main Road, Arima. The incident occurred shortly after two o’clock this morning. The report said that the men were asleep at home at the time when two killers alighted from a silver AD wagon shouting police. They demanded that the occupants open the door to the house. Upon entering they met a couple and enquired how many persons were inside. The assailants then went inside another room and there fired several shots. Police believe the perpetrators action may have stemmed from a grudge following a dispute two days before.
