Bandits strike again as another set-up robbery left victims in huge losses.

This morning the police are still looking for a taxi that was used in a daring daylight robbery yesterday's at a businesswoman's home in middle street. The woman Annie Ahmed who operates a business on King street Georgetown, was expected to travel to the US today with her sister and had purchased a large sum of US currency. After leaving her business place she made a number of stops in her car before arriving her when two men attacked. Reports are that they were unarmed and held unto the bags which was in the possession of the woman, she put up a fierce fight but eventually the men managed to escape with some US $25,000. They escaped in a taxi with number plates HB 3846. 

This victims are convinced that they were setup by someone they knew who alerted the bandits, who might have been trailing them or waited until they reached home. Similar attacks happened only last week when a couple was relieved of money by bandits after they were trailed from the bank. A serious trend in unfolding, according to members of the business community who are pondering how to go about doing their financial business.
