First Caribbean Bank has laid off 30 employees in Barbados.
Country Manager David Farmer told Trakker News, that t the changes were made as a part of normal business conditions, and in response to the prevailing economic situation.
"First Caribbean Bank like any other business, must continue to make changes to its areas of focus and stafing requirements", Farmer said.
"While we regret the jobs losses as a result of the changing business requirements, we are confident that we will continue to create new opportunities as our business expands", he added.
