The Barbados National Bank (BNB) will be rebranded next year. Chairman of the Republic Bank Group, the parent company of BNB Ronald Harford, made the annoucement during his report on BNB financial performance for the year ending September 30, 2011.
"We intend to bring a resolution to shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting to change the name of the bank to reflect the Republic Bank Brand in Barbados", Harford said.
"This will allow the Bank to realise the benefits of standardisation of marketing and communications activities across the Republic Bank Group with attendant business benefits", Harford added.
