Barbados can be the natural of the Caribbean but the island has to move away from being a service economy to fulfil it true potential.
This is the advice of Leader of the Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan who arrived in Barbados yesterday afternoon on the second leg of a six nation visit to the Caribbean..
Speaking to members of the media and the Islamic community at the Grantley Adams International Airport, Farrakhan said that with a high per capita income, the most learned workforce and one of finest institutions of learning in the region, Barbados must assume its role to lead the Caribbean to greater things.
He warned that the region cannot survive as little nations with flags, anthens and suffering people when the unity of the whole Caribbean would make it a regional power.
