An official from the Government Meteorological Office, has warned Barbadians that it take only one hit by an hurricane to inflict major damage to the island.
Clem Williams told Trakker News, the hurricane season this year will be above average.
"There is no reason why a hurricane should hit the Windward and Leeward Islands and not Barbados,so Barbadians should get ready for the 2011 hurricane from now,"said Williams.
