Corriverton. Berbice : A mentally ill 50 year old man beat his daughter to death with a piece of wood last evening. The man and his 23 year old daughter,Onika Albert reportedly had an argument concerning an iron. The argument got out of control and a fight began. The man's aunt,Caroline Ferdinand told TrakkerNews that after the fight started she told the pair to " take it downstairs". The fight then moved to the yard where the man picked up a piece of wood and began to repeatedly hit the woman in the head. According to Ms.Ferdiand, the man hit the woman until her "brain came out". The deceased woman lived in Scottsburg with her mother, but visited Ms.Ferdinand and her father everyday to help with chores. The man has since been taken into police custody assisting with police investigations.
