Berbice : At about 9pm yesterday, mini-bus driver Takraj Boodram , 33 years, of Belvedere South Squatting Area, Corentyne, Berbice, was about to enter his premises when three men approached him and one of them, who was armed with a firearm, discharged a round that hit him to his left side shoulder.
The men escaped on bicycles.
Takraj Boodram has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
