Georgetown : Premchand Sugrim of No. 54 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, died today at the Georgetown Hospital. The 47 year old man was admitted to hospital on July 10th after he allegedly had been struck to his head with a piece of metal during an argument with his fifteen-year-old nephew.
The nephew was earlier charged with Attempt Murder and had appeared at the No. 51 Magistrate Court, Corentyne on July 13, 2011, where he was remanded into police custody.
